...There she stood, out on the edge, watching as it dipped below the mountains farthest from her, still capped in remnants of winter's snows. As the last edge of the great orb dissipated a breeze sprung up, tugging her mane and tail about her. Yamurra sighed gently, smiling as she turned her head. Below, a river sprung from its birthplace in the valley between two mountains, later spreading to the wide fast-waters of the rapids that fed her drinking spring. The scent of water carried up to the high-perched mare on the cool evening breeze, remind her of home...
---  Just a quicky. As I broke the artblock, I started this, getting about mid-way through before loosing patience. It's not the best and I battled tooth and nail for the background I still don't like. Yamurra again, because I really don't like the last picture I did of her, even though the background surpassed this one >< She's had a few slight design changes; no more coronet stripe, muzzle is now the same brown as her legs and her snip is a more natural shape.
